yourselves what Squared Away Surplus is, or what we do. As a Veteran-owned
business, we keep things simple at Squared Away Surplus, providing gear that is
designed by other Veterans. Along with keeping it Americanized, we do have the
ability to custom order for law enforcement agencies, fire departments, EMS
personnel, as well as outdoor enthusiasts. Those custom orders are promised to
have an all-time low price, and to include popular brands, such as Safariland,
5.11 Tactical, ASP, Propper, TRu-Spec, Under Armour, and many more.
In the beginning of 2012, I, Chris
Jackson, Owner & C.E.O. decided to make the switch from Squared Away Fitness to Squared Away
Surplus to give back to the community that I serve myself through not only my
military service, but also my law enforcement career. With such problematic terms of finding gear
at the right price, I decided to open my own store and to offer my fellow
brothers and sisters a place to shop without breaking their wallets.
As of today, we at Squared Away
Surplus have yet again revamped our focus. Seeing the economy and the
detrimental issues that we are currently going through ― sending jobs overseas,
profit margins going at an all-time low due to monopolistic businesses ― I
again decided to focus more on Americanized, Patriotic, and pure awesome
products designed by other Veterans themselves. By realizing the true passion
of my fellow brothers and sisters in arms, the sense of that bond is like no
other.
Developing a community that reaches
out to those who have served, and are inspired to strive for their dreams of
being entrepreneurs, we have developed the focus of help, and will promote such
brands and individuals. Currently having two popular brands that have evolved
quickly, Grunt Style and Death Dealer Tactical, we are always and continually
seeking Veteran-owned brands.
